Symphony orchestra and Big Band in collaboration
The orchestra society ”Umeå Musiksällskap” (60-person symphony orchestra) and the big band ”Renhornen” (25 musicians) meet in an exciting co-operation in this production.
Umeå Musiksällskap is Umeås oldest cultural association, and Renhornen (Reindeer Horns…) is Umeås oldest big band orchestra. In this concert they will perform a number of well-known hits, composed by such celebrities as Irving Berlin, Kurt Weill, Queen, G F Händel, Elvis Costello, Burt Bacharach, Coldplay, and a lot of others.
The concert is given at two shows, 2 and 5 o’clock. Duration 80-90 minutes, no intermission.
