Works by Strauss, Alfv\u00e9n, Prokofiev, John Williams, Andrea Tarrodi, and others are interwoven with music from the Swedish video game *Unravel*\u2014where the track \u201cThrilling Chase\u201d adds a dramatic and rhythmic element to the concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concert concludes with a sing-along to Laleh\u2019s \u201cEn stund p\u00e5 jorden<\/em>,\u201d featuring music classes and the youth choir. Host Kristina Sturk guides the audience through the concert in an educational manner and provides insight into the music and the orchestra\u2019s work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the pieces, *Wildwood* by Andrea Tarrodi, is linked to an art project in which the students\u2019 own images are projected during the performance\u2014making them part of the artistic experience. The concert gives students the opportunity to experience the orchestra\u2019s soundscape up close\u2014and aims to spark curiosity, concentration, and creativity. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Cultural Promise<\/h5>\n\n\n\n


The concert is part of the Norrlandsoperan\u2019s contribution to Ume\u00e5 Municipality\u2019s new cultural strategy, \u201cKulturl\u00f6ftet,\u201d whichmeans that all municipal students will have the opportunity to encounter, participate in, and engage in cultural activities in theirclasses and throughout their entire school career.\u201cA Moment on Earth\u201d<\/em> will be held on four occasions and will reach all 9th-grade students in the Ume\u00e5 municipality!
