Embraced by inviting music and choral singing<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

This concert welcomes everyone; from young to old, from the die-hard classical music lover to the curious. With Ralph Vaughan Williams’ work Folk songs of the Four Seasons<\/em> , Norrlandsoperan’s chorus master Charlotte Kuisma saw an exciting opportunity to meet Norrlandsoperan’s children’s and youth choir with Norrlandsoperan’s symphony orchestra. This developed into an entire concert evening that invites you into the world of classical music, with beautiful music to enjoy and be inspired by for everyone \u2013 young and old, inexperienced and inveterate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Icelandic conductor Bjarni Frimann leads the audience on a journey that begins with Felix Mendelssohn’s magical work A Midsummer Night’s Dream<\/em>, followed by Vaughan Williams’ Folk Songs of the Four Seasons<\/em> , which depicts the course of the year through a set of traditional English folk songs. The concert concludes magnificently with Jean Sibelius’s Second Symphony, which offers powerful and evocative musical landscapes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norrlandsoperan is finally getting a restaurant on-site. Novas Krog will soon open in our facilities and will also handle the intermission service at our concerts and performances. We\u2019ll be sharing more information about Novas Krog\u2019s opening date shortly.

Refreshments available during the performance of<\/strong> ** You can already purchase coffee and pastries and other treats one hour before the show starts and during intermission. The menu features a variety of beverages, homemade pastries, and homemade pies, as well as sandwiches and sandwich cakes (selection may vary). While we await our liquor license, we serve non-alcoholic beverages.

Pre-order intermission refreshments<\/strong>You can pre-order your intermission refreshments to avoid queues and secure a reserved table where your order is served. Add intermission products in connection with ticket purchases or on My Pages<\/strong><\/a>

The restaurant Novas Krog at the Norrlandsoperan will open soon, offering great food, drinks, and ambiance. We look forward to our opera house becoming more vibrant and open again.
