Get closer to the dance!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Come experience the powerful movements and rhythms of flamenco with dance instructor Sofia Lindgren. During this hands-on introduction, you\u2019ll get to try out the basics and experience the musicality and movement that permeate tonight\u2019s performance. Who knows\u2014maybe you\u2019ll recognize some of the moves when you watch *La Venidera* from the audience! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sofia runs Sofias Flamenco<\/em> in Ume\u00e5, where she teaches, choreographs, and performs. With a background that includes working as a choreographer for *Bernardas hus* at the Riksteatern and regular study trips to Spain, she is passionate about sharing the world of flamenco. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No prior knowledge required<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You don’t need any prior dance experience to participate\u2014Sofia will meet you right where you are. You can wear your regular clothes; you don’t need to change. Come as you are\u2014it’ll be fun! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immediately following the in-person introduction, you are welcome to attend the oral introduction to the work in the main foyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
