Buying Tickets<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The easiest way to buy tickets is online. That way, you can choose your own seat and pre-order food and drinks for intermission. The box office at the venue opens one hour before the performance begins. In the event of canceled or rescheduled performances, tickets and prepaid intermission meals will be refunded within one month. Refunds are processed automatically for online purchases; for purchases made at the box office, you must visit in person. Means of Payment<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

At the box office, you can pay with a credit card, Swish, or a Norrlandsoperan gift card. Cash is not accepted. Online payments can be made with a debit card, Swish, invoice, or gift card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Booking<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

If you are unable to purchase tickets online, we can help you book them. Please contact customer service<\/a>, and we’ll assist you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exchange<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

You can change the date on your ticket if the performance is offered on multiple dates, subject to availability. You can make the change online on your ticket page; the fee is 30 SEK per ticket. The change must be made no later than three days before the performance. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Main stage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is our largest stage, with a capacity of 470 people. Entrances are located on both Level 1 and Level 2 in the lobby. There is also a balcony with 30 seats. The seats are numbered. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Concert Hall<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Step into the concert hall and experience its acoustics. There are 509 seats, 62 of which are on the balcony. Entrances are located on Levels 1 and 2 in the lobby. Seats are numbered. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Black Box<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Walk straight ahead through the lobby, up the small flight of stairs, and then turn left into the far lobby\u2014that\u2019s where you\u2019ll find Black Box. Here, we adjust both the stage and auditorium sizes depending on the nature of the event. Black Box has 220 unnumbered seats. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Studio Stage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll find the Studio Stage next to the Black Box. Walk straight ahead through the lobby, up the small staircase, and then turn left into the far lobby. The Studio Stage has between 50 and 60 unnumbered seats. We rearrange the seating here depending on the nature of the event. If necessary, we also use the floor space with seating cushions\u2014up to 30 in total. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The White Cube<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our public space for contemporary art is located in the upper lobby (an elevator is available) and admission is free.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>

Serving at the performance<\/strong>
You can buy coffee and other goodies in the bistro from an hour before the start and during the break. The menu includes wine, beer, soft drinks, snacks, home-baked pastries and light refreshments.

Pre-order intermission refreshments<\/strong>
Pre-order your intermission refreshments and avoid queues. You will receive a reserved table where your order is served. Please note:<\/strong> only cold drinks (+ any snacks: nuts, crisp bag or hot snacks) are ready for collection in the cloakroom on the lower floor, reserved table is not included. Add break products in connection with ticket purchases or at  My Pages<\/strong><\/a>

You can always hang your outerwear for free in our staffed coat check, which is located on both floors. There\u2019s usually a shorter line at the coat check on the 2nd floor. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Introductions to our performances are usually held 30 minutes before the show starts. Perfect for anyone who wants some background information and fun facts about what they\u2019re about to see. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Main stage<\/strong>; however, a hearing loop is available in rows 1\u201316 of the orchestra section.
The concert hall<\/strong> has a hearing loop available in row 1, rows 7\u201313, and row 15.
Black Box<\/strong> has a hearing loop system throughout the auditorium. Pick up a receiver at the Ticket & Visitor Desk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need wheelchair-accessible seats, there are four seats in the theater, six seats in the concert hall, and two seats in the Black Box . Wheelchair-accessible seating in the auditoriums, bistro, and bar is available on the ground floor. The entrance to the lobby and the box office is equipped with automatic door openers. There is an elevator to the White Cube and the upper lobby, but unfortunately it is not suitable for mobility scooters or larger wheelchairs.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A wheelchair-accessible restroom with a changing table is located on the ground floor in the public lobby, across from the entrance to the women’s restroom. There are a total of nine restrooms on the ground floor and eight more on the upper lobby level. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Friend Card<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the Kompiskortet, you can get 2-for-1 admission to concerts by the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra, as well as opera and dance performances. You can apply for a Kompiskortet if you are over 12 years old, live in the municipality of Ume\u00e5, and have an LSS decision.
