The residency offers time and space to focus on the artistic process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-section nb-section position-relative  py-40 pt-md-48 pb-md-64 py-lg-80 bg-beige-2\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-container nb-container container-fluid\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-row nb-row row\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-column col nb-column col-12 col-lg-4 offset-lg-2\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-heading nb-heading nb-cursor-default nb-heading-h2  text-black content-animation no-bottom-line\">About the Residency<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-column col nb-column col-12 col-lg-4\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Residens Scen 5<\/strong> aims to contribute to sustainable working conditions for professional dance artists by providing time, space, and financial support for artistic work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We encourage residents to include some form of sharing during their residency, such as a process showing, a talk, or an open workshop for the public, although this is not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The residency takes place in <strong>Scen 5<\/strong> at Sara Kulturhus. Located high up in the building, Scen 5 is a beautiful wooden studio space with a large glass facade. By bringing together expertise in regional dance development, performing arts production, and cultural venue operations, we offer a place where artistic processes can take the time they need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-paragraph nb-paragraph\"><strong>Norrlandsoperan Dans<\/strong> presents, produces, and develops contemporary dance on a regional, national, and international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-paragraph nb-paragraph\"><strong>Dans i V\u00e4sterbotten<\/strong> works to strengthen the conditions and accessibility of dance throughout the region through development, collaboration, and artistic exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-paragraph nb-paragraph\"><strong>Sara Kulturhus<\/strong> is a meeting place for culture, art, and learning, offering professional environments for artistic work and collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-paragraph nb-paragraph\"><strong>V\u00e4sterbottensteatern<\/strong> is the regional theatre of V\u00e4sterbotten and produces performing arts with strong roots in the region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-group nb-group  pe-80 ps-48\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-heading nb-heading nb-cursor-default nb-heading-h2 my-24 my-md-32 my-lg-48  no-bottom-line content-animation\">Who can apply?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We welcome applications from professional dance artists based in Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications may be submitted by individual artists or artistic teams.
