This isn\u2019t the first time you\u2019ve played with the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra\u2014welcome back!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Thank you! Yes, I\u2019ve been working here as a substitute on and off since 2022 and have really enjoyed it. I love the city, and the orchestra is so wonderful\u2014both the musicians and the music.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-heading nb-heading nb-cursor-default nb-heading-h4 mb-24 no-bottom-line\">2. How did your interest in music begin?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 It started very early. I began playing the violin when I was six, and that\u2019s how I met my friends. When I joined the youth orchestra in Bergen, I fell in love with the symphony orchestra, the atmosphere, and the whole experience. And that love has lasted ever since.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-heading nb-heading nb-cursor-default nb-heading-h4 mb-24 no-bottom-line\">3. But you switched from the violin to the viola\u2014how did that happen?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was probably just a coincidence\u2014I was playing in a chamber orchestra, and they needed a viola. After that, I never went back to the violin; the viola became my instrument. I really love its range and its ability to weave its way through the melodies.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-heading nb-heading nb-cursor-default nb-heading-h4 mb-24 no-bottom-line\">4. What&#8217;s the best part of your job?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 It\u2019s like sitting right in the middle of the orchestra pit, doing my small part to contribute to a whole that, together with the audience, becomes something amazing. That\u2019s what I think during every performance: \u201cDo I really get paid to do this!?\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-noor-blocks-heading nb-heading nb-cursor-default nb-heading-h4 mb-24 no-bottom-line\">5. What do you do when you&#8217;re not playing music?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 I enjoy the outdoors\u2014as a Norwegian, I\u2019d probably lose my citizenship if I didn\u2019t say that\u2014but otherwise I like to draw and paint.
