Sabrina Sadowska
Sabrina received her training as a dancer and ballet pedagogue in her hometown Basel. This was followed by engagements as a dancer in Trier, Bremerhaven and Halle as well as several scholarships at the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen. As a ballet teacher and master she was u. a. at the State Ballet School in Warsaw, the Ballet School of the Leipzig Opera, the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden, the Polish Dance Theater, the National Theater Brno and the Aalto Theater Essen. Together with Ralf Dörnen she was from 1997 as ballet master and from 1999 as Deputy Ballet Director at the Ballet Vorpommern. In 2013/2014 she moved to Chemnitz as ballet director and first ballet master, devotes herself as a choreographer to various productions and is the founder of the festival TANZ | MODERN | DANCE. In 2016 she received the Medal of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. With the season 2017/2018 she will take over the direction of the Ballet Chemnitz.
