Har du någonsin undrat hur det låter ett dans- och performanceverk blir till? Koreografen och dansaren Sindri Runudde bjuder in alla nyfikna till den kreativa ljudvärld som föregått några av några verk som visas på Re-Think.
Norrlandsoperan är stolt över att presentera denna pilotversion av Sindri Runuddes ambitiösa projekt att skapa ett levande arkiv av repetitionsljud, där han hädanefter fortsätter att undersöka hur lyssnandet kan fungera som huvudsakligt verktyg i konstnärliga processer.
Sindri Runudde är en svensk och internationellt baserad dansare och koreograf. Han arbetar inom olika fält av ljud- och bildkonst och är tidigare utbildad inom samtida cirkus. Som frilansdansare har Sindri arbetat för koreografer som t.ex: Stina Nyberg, Carl Olof Berg, Martin Forsberg, Ben Wright, Jeremy Wade, Moritz Ostruschnjak och Miriam Gurtner. Sindri arbetar utifrån ett queerfeministiskt perspektiv i sina verk, och utifrån sin erfarenhet av att ha en synnedsättning är han mycket engagerad nationellt och internationellt i danscommunityt för handikappade och funktionshindrade.

Listen to the process of creating – a living dance and performance archive
Have you ever wanted to know how the creation process happens in the dance studio?
Choreographer Sindri Runudde invites you to ‘drop in’ the making of some of the dance works presented at the festival and to experience a work in process through your ears, as a listening exercise. The recordings of several rehearsals will be made available on the festival platform to enable the audience and professionals to listen, observe and get familiar with the artistic making process.
Norrlandsoperan is proud to host the pilot edition of this ambitious project that Sindri Runudde will develop in the future as living archive of performance rehearsal sounds, exploring the sonic aspect of dance and performance making, and questioning how we can use listening as a primary source for this experience.
Sindri Runudde is a Swedish and internationally based dancer and choreographer. They is working across different fields of sound- and visual art, and is previously educated in contemporary circus. As a freelance dancer Sindri has worked for choreographers like: Stina Nyberg, Carl Olof Berg, Martin Forsberg, Ben Wright, Jeremy Wade, Moritz Ostruschnjak and Miriam Gurtner. Sindri works from a queer feminist perspective in their works, and from a lived experience having a visual impairment they is highly involved nationally and internationally in the disabled/crip dance community.
