Floating above the restaurant, Vita kuben is a joint initiative by Norrlandsoperan and Umeå kommun, dedicated to showcasing temporary and experimental art. Since its opening in 2002, it has featured hundreds of internationally renowned artists and captivating local voices, offering experiences that provoke reflection and discussion. Today, there are only a few exhibition spaces dedicated solely to sound, and with Vita kuben, we aim to give listening and sound art the special place and attention it truly deserves.
