Whistleblower function

At Norrlandsoperan we are committed to doing what’s right and to maintaining the trust of our employees, partners, and the public in us and our operations. Therefore we strive to detect and prevent any potential misconduct in our operations as early as possible. Through our whistleblower service you can report suspicions of serious misconduct.

The whistleblower function can be used in cases of serious improprieties such as bribery, fraud, theft, conflict of interest, inappropriate side jobs or situations where someone gains private benefit or advantage due to their position. This can also include favoritism towards acquaintances, violations of law or serious deviations from internal guidelines and regulations in the service.

The function is not intended for general comments on leadership, work environment or operational planning. For these types of issues contact should instead be made with the immediate supervisor, senior manager, directly to HR or union representative. Those who are subject to offensive treatment, harassment or reprisals should promptly report it to a manager or someone else they trust such as HR, union organization, safety representative or colleague.

Reports received through the whistleblower service are directed to Norrlandsoperan’s operational staff who will determine if they are suitable to investigate the matter or if the continued handling of the report should be handed over to another independent party. This may be the case if the issue involves one of the recipients.

Through the whistleblower service you can remain completely anonymous when submitting your report. Your report will be encrypted and no IP addresses can be traced.
