Loopa with Dan

“Loopa with Dan ” is an interactive vocal performance for the youngest children. The show is structured like a singing workshop and is entirely based on the children’s voices. Dan brings his loop pedal and microphone, and using their own voices, the children get to join in and create loops, rhythms, and sounds. It’s a playful exploration of words, tones, and loops that dispels shyness and sparks curiosity, joy, and wonder at the endless universe of sound. Anything can happen when the audience is invited to participate and reminded of life’s loops that just go on and on, day after day and year after year…

Dan Knagg is a multi-instrumentalist, specializing in vocals and percussion, and has worked as a freelance musician for the past ten years, primarily in the folk and world music genres. He is both a trained vocal instructor and musician and has been active in bands such as Alla Fagra, Tarabband, ODE, and the Emilia Amper Band, among others. At the same time, he has worked as a theater musician and director, focusing on children and young people.

Dan is also involved in the national project “Rösträtt – Singing in Preschool,” which works to strengthen the role of singing in preschool.
