The Opera Singers of the Future

Career coaching, workshops, a role in an opera production, and more

ONO offers vocal students the opportunity to receive practical training in opera while enrolled in the Piteå School of Music’s one-year master’s program or two-year master’s program in classical music.

The goal is to provide aspiring opera singers with practical experience in the profession while they are still in training. Classes are held on-site at both the Norrlandsoperan in Umeå and the Piteå School of Music, and students are also assigned a role in one of the Norrlandsoperan’s productions during the academic year.
