Three incredibly flexible circus performers navigate a towering structure that’s difficult to master. They change shape, dissolve, and reappear in spectacular formations. Through circus, humor, and magic, The Pile explores the tension between wanting to belong and, at the same time, longing to break free.

Kompani Giraff invites young audiences to a performance inspired by the traditions of absurdist and surrealist art. Through spectacular, movement-based fabric sculptures, the performance explores existential themes of growth, resistance, and liberation. The performance is recommended for elementary school-aged children and their parents or guardians.

The work premiered at—and is a co-production with—Dansens Hus.
