Christmas Through Linnea’s Eyes

Together with the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra, Linnea Henriksson presents a concert where her original songs meet winter- and Christmas-themed music from the worlds of pop and jazz. You might recognize some of the songs right away. Others take on new dimensions when performed with the symphony orchestra. Music that invites us to pause for a moment amid the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

Also on stage is musician Wille Alin, a close collaborator of Linnea’s for many years. Together with composer and arranger Jonas Nydesjö, they have put together an evening where the song selections have emerged from conversations about what Christmas means to people today.

Jonas Nydesjö has an amazing ability to create unique and exciting symphonic collaborations, and his past collaborations include artists such as Annika Norlin, Ola Salo, Bob Hund, and Håkan Hellström, among others.

Over the course of her more than fifteen years as an artist, Linnea Henriksson has established herself as a leading voice on the Swedish music scene. With over 300 million streams and some of the most-played songs on Swedish radio, she has toured the length and breadth of the country, from large venues to intimate shows, and collaborated with several of the nation’s leading orchestras and big bands. With songs like “Lyckligare nu,” “Halmstad,” “Säga mig,” and, not least, the modern Christmas classic “Fira jul med mig,” she has become one of our most beloved artists.
