Discover the joy of classical music
The concert begins with excerpts from iconic symphonies by both Dvořák, Beethoven and Mozart before Offenbach’s exuberant Can Can gets both orchestra and audience going.
The concert also includes numbers of a more quiet and beautiful character such as Bach’s Air and Grieg’s Morning Mood before we are thrown into the pulsating Hall of the Mountain King.
The conclusion will be festive and grand with Strauss’s well-known Radetzky March, where the audience, just like at the Vienna Symphony Orchestra’s traditional New Year’s concert, is invited to clap along.
