Songs, truths, and gossip!
I’ve always found it both fun and challenging to do something more than just a standard, run-of-the-mill concert when I get the chance to perform for an audience. Over the years, I’ve wrestled with malfunctioning slide projectors, had heated conversations with myself in the form of a life-size cardboard cutout, ridden a triumphal chariot in gladiator armor, and I’ve even gone on tour with a real therapist who conducted therapy sessions with me on stage between songs.
In 2023, the book *OM Niklas Strömstedt* was published; it is an autobiographical journey through both his private life and his public career. While working on the book, the idea arose to use it as the basis for a stage production.
Which songs gave you goosebumps? What did Evert Taube say when he called? How do you break out of that paralyzing, destructive silence, and when a turkey is suddenly hanging from your chin—what the hell do you do then? And love—can you really make sense of it?
