Dance that portrays visibility and identity
The performance begins with four unique solos where each dancer chisels out their own personality. During the performance, a sense of belonging emerges, and a collective expression emerges without words.
The audience sits on either side of the venue and thus becomes a physical part of the performance, sharing the same room as the dancers. The questions “Who do you see when you see me? Who do I see when I see you?” permeate the performance, which becomes a reflection on the mutual interplay between visibility and identity.
“I See You ” is an interregional project supported by the Västerbotten and Norrbotten Regions, in which all the participating dancers are based in the northern counties.
