Discover an entire symphony orchestra

Welcome to a wonderful family concert with the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra! You’ll hear excerpts from well-known works by composers such as J. Offenbach and J. Strauss Jr., as well as contemporary music by Ukrainian composer Hanna Havrylets and Mexican composer Arturo Márquez. In addition, there will be sing-alongs of well-known children’s songs, a try-your-hand-at-conducting session for kids, and a “pit stop”—where audience members get to sit among the orchestra during the concert. All under the direction of Per-Erik Andersson.

Welcome to a joyful Family Concert featuring the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra! You’ll hear well-known music by composers such as J. Offenbach and J. Strauss II, as well as contemporary works by Ukrainian composer Hanna Havrylets and Mexican composer Arturo Márquez.

There will also be sing-alongs featuring familiar children’s songs, a chance to try conducting—where children can step up and lead the orchestra—and a “pit stop,” where audience members can sit among the musicians during the concert!

The family concert is part of the Norrlandsoperan Open House on August 23.
