Come visit the Norrlandsoperan and enjoy an opera, a dance performance, or a concert featuring the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra. If you have a library card in the Umeå region, you can borrow the Norrlandsoperan Card, which allows you to pick up two tickets to the Norrlandsoperan.

Here’s how to do it

1. Borrow the Norrlandsoperan Card at the Umeå City Library, located in Väven.

You must have a library card in the Umeå region and be at least 16 years old to borrow the Norrlandsoperan Card. There is no charge to borrow it.

2. Bring your Norrlandsoperan card to the Norrlandsoperan box office.

Upon presentation of your Norrlandsoperan card, you can pick up two tickets for any performance that week.

3. Return the Norrlandsoperan card to the Umeå City Library.

Important Information

Performances at the Norrlands Opera


With the Norrlandsoperan Card, you can pick up tickets to an opera, dance performance, or concert featuring the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra that takes place within one week of borrowing the card. You cannot borrow tickets for sold-out performances. For some performances, there is a limited number of tickets available for borrowing. On the Norrlandsoperan website, you can see which performances are currently being shown.

Accessibility

The Norrlandsoperan Card cannot be reserved in advance. It can only be borrowed in person at the Umeå City Library. You can check the Umeå Region Library Catalog to see if the card is available.

Number of tickets

With the Norrlandsoperan Card, you can pick up two tickets for a performance in the same week. You can borrow the Norrlandsoperan Card once per calendar year.

Pick up your tickets

You can pick up your tickets at the Norrlandsoperan box office. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and one hour before the performance.

Loan Term

The loan period is five days and cannot be extended.
