Get closer to the dance

Helena Lundqvist works as a rehearsal director at Norrdans; in that role, she has assisted choreographer Kristine Ryg Helgebostad and the ensemble throughout the entire rehearsal process for *Shoegaze*.

Helena will lead the physical introduction and guide the participants through the physical world that served as the starting point for the performance. That physicality then evolved into the movement language that the audience will see, experience, and feel from their seats.

No prior knowledge required

With her extensive experience as a dancer and teacher, Helena welcomes everyone—you don’t need any experience with dance or dancing to participate in the physical introduction. Come on, it’ll be fun! Take this chance to go behind the (physical) scenes of a dance performance.

This will be followed by an introduction to the performance from 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. with Martin Forsberg, artistic director of Norrdans, at Bistron.
