An Emotional Dance

As part of its 50th-anniversary celebration, the Norrlands Opera is pleased to present a twenty-minute excerpt from the production *Rosa Löften*, followed by a dance floor with a dance band atmosphere.

In its original 2008 version, *Rosa Löften* is a full-length solo by choreographer Hagar Malin Hellkvist Sellén for the Norwegian dancer Marianne Kjærsund.

Based on queer values and a “pink” approach, a solo piece was created that openly explores the body, identity, and movement in relation to the music and dance of the dance band culture.

“Pink Promises” is a romantic exploration of values and an emotional roller coaster that leaves no one unmoved.

“Rosa löften” was co-produced in 2008 with the Norrlands Opera.
