L1NA: The future of Swedish hip-hop is already here

L1NA is more than just an artist—she’s a musical shape-shifter. Since her debut with “BEKVÄM” in 2019, she’s been impossible to ignore. With a voice that smoothly weaves through melodies, unexpected flows, and natural confidence, she has carved out her own niche in the industry. L1NA doesn’t follow trends—she sets them.

With her highly anticipated debut album , *TNT*, she raises the bar for Swedish hip-hop. The album is a genre-bending journey where Afrobeat meets drill, and introspective elements blend with her dreamlike autotune vocals. The album has already been nominated for five awards and showcases her innovative talent.

L1NA crafts music with precision—every note, beat, and line is carefully considered. She takes her time to create something unique, yet she is fearless and uncompromising. Her lyrics are sharp, personal, and always genuine.

TNT features collaborations with rising stars like Mazzo and Solo, while producer Nisj helps push the boundaries. Together, they don’t just create songs—they create moments.

L1NA is already one of the most respected voices in Swedish hip-hop. And this is just the beginning.

Shuwana – Yaredo – Cheza

This dynamic trio combines the power of dance, music, and DJing to create an atmosphere where no one can stand still. With deep roots in street dance and a boundless passion for rhythm and movement, they take over the dance floor and deliver an unforgettable experience.

Joanna Skywalker Holewa Chrona —known as Shuwana when she takes the DJ booth—is a dancer, choreographer, and DJ. She is active in both Sweden and South Africa. Her movement style combines everything from popping to isiPantsula and Sabar. Among other things, Joanna is a co-founder of AFIA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of and celebrating African cultures, with a recent focus on South Africa. Over the past twelve years, she has danced in and choreographed numerous productions, both internationally and nationally. Together with Yared Tilahun Cederlund, she forms the duo Land Before Time, which will present two of its works in the spring of 2025: […it is contained in…] which is touring with Riksteatern, and *Waterkind*, selected for the Spring Forward festival, which annually highlights 20 of Europe’s most promising choreographers. *Waterkind* will also go on a Dansnät Sverige tour in the spring of 2026. As a DJ, Joanna continues to express her appreciation and passion for South Africa, playing South African afrohouse and related subgenres.

Yared Tilahun Cederlund – An established dancer, choreographer, DJ, and music producer with strong roots in the street and freestyle dance scenes. His unique style combines street dance techniques with influences from the performing arts and improvisation. He has competed in major battles such as Streetstar and Juste Debout and, in recent years, has created several notable productions, including PULS pt.1 and pt.2 with Maele Sabuni. As a sound composer, he has created soundtracks for performances such as *So Sorry* and *YES* by Bam Bam Frost, as well as *YEBO YES* by AFIA.

Maele Cheza Sabuni – A Stockholm-based dancer, choreographer, and DJ, known for his playful and unique DJ sets. With extensive experience in dance music, he has performed both nationally and internationally at events such as Way Out West, Juste Debout Nordic, and The Nexus in Washington, D.C. He has appeared in several prominent productions, including *Festen* by Viktor Fröjd, alongsideboth Joanna Holewa Chrona and Yared Tilahun Cederlund, and, not least, the self-choreographed and acclaimed performance *Bach In The Streets*.
