Workshop for those with long dance experience
Meet the charismatic and highly topical choreographer Philip Berlin. During a playful workshop, we will take part in Philip’s ideas and universe of movement. Through variations of movements, movements through space and improvisation, Philip takes us into thoughts about his latest work La Ronde, which has just premiered.
The class is built around a series of exercises that aim to activate the body’s connective tissue (fascia), through a variety of movement materials that enable movements through the room in overlap, especially in relation to one’s own weight. The focus will be on the work of the legs in interaction with the movements of the spine. The technical parameters focus attention on the flow of the spine and thorax, with emphasis on inclined and circular movements.
As part of the workshop, choreographic improvisational material will be practiced from the work La Ronde (2026).
Don’t miss Spring Salon 29 April, a full evening in two acts with samples from the national and international dance scene.
