Attitudes
Attitudes is a three-year Creative Europe project in the field of street dance that includes six European partners. At the heart of the project is the co-production of six new dance works, which will then tour the project’s participating countries: Denmark, France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
In addition to co-productions, Attitudes’ activities include workshops, seminars, discussions, and residencies.
The European partners are: Dansekapellet (DK), Centre Chorégraphique National de Rennes et de Bretagne (FR), HOP Festival (ES), Kampnagel (DE), Norrlandsoperan (SE), and Summer Dance Forever (NL).
Norrlandsoperan also has national partnerships with the IVER Cultural Association (Malmö), Gatuverket (Stockholm), Exiled Dance Crew (Luleå), and Dansnät Sverige.
The Swedish co-production
As part of the Attitudes project, the Sweden-based dance collective Majeko will create a new work that will premiere at the Norrlandsoperan on Saturday, May 10, 2025, followed by a European tour. Majeko consists of core members Kaide Gonzalez, Marcus “Mackie” Larsson, and Ida “Inxi” Holmlund. For the Attitudes project, Majeko will be joined by Fredrika “Freddie” Burvall, who will temporarily replace Inxi.
