Right to Exchange
You can exchange your tickets for another date within the same production at no charge (this applies primarily to opera).
Priority
Your subscription is renewed at the start of each new season, and you’ll keep your seat in the theater. If you’d like to make any changes to your subscription or cancel it entirely, we’re just a phone call or email away.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel your ticket if you are unable to attend by 12:00 p.m. on the same day and receive a gift card as compensation. Valid once per year (previously twice a year).

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Being a subscriber to Norrlandsoperan comes with several benefits and the peace of mind that you’ll always have your favorite seat reserved to experience the season’s performing arts with us. A subscription means you receive a continuous supply of discounted tickets for any of the art forms: dance, concerts, or opera. You can also subscribe to two of them, or all three.
As a subscriber, you always receive at least a 25% discount on regular ticket prices—the more subscriptions you have, the higher the discount—up to 40%. Subscriptions are paid for on a seasonal basis.
You can split the payment when paying online through the external payment service PayEx; you choose how you want to split the payment when you activate the credit.
Other fees and credit terms for account holders:
- The account holder pays a statement fee of 29 kronor (currently), as well as interest on the credit at the applicable reference rate plus 17.45% per year, with a minimum of 18% per year.
- The account holder can choose whether to receive invoices by email or by mail, and can also adjust their installment payments and always choose to pay off the entire credit balance in one lump sum.
- Account holders can log in using BankID to review their credit and change the delivery method for invoices, etc.
You can essentially reserve your favorite seat and keep it all year long. When you sign up for your subscription, you can request a specific seat, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. We’ll contact you to confirm your seat, and if you like it, we’ll do everything we can to make sure you can keep it for as long as you’d like. At the start of each new season, you’ll have the option to switch seats if you’d prefer.

We’ll contact you primarily by email. Sometimes we even call.
As long as you’d like, you pay for one season at a time. We automatically renew your subscription season by season, and when you pay, you confirm your spot.
You don’t have to worry about that—we’ll take care of it for you. As the season draws to a close, we’ll let you know well in advance, and you can then choose to continue for another season, change your subscription—or cancel. It’s up to you.
Tickets included in your subscription are not personal; you can give one or more of the experiences to whomever you choose. If you become ill on short notice, you can receive a gift card equal to the value of your ticket. We must receive your sick notice no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of the performance in order to honor this benefit. Valid once per season (previously twice per season).
This is decided in advance by each department. One thing you can be absolutely sure of is that you won’t miss any of the season’s absolute highlights.
A subscription is valid for one year at a time, covering the fall and spring. You can become a subscriber at any time during a season. We adjust the price based on how many remaining performances there are in the art form you wish to subscribe to.
If a concert or performance included in your subscription has to be canceled, you’ll get a refund. (Everyone does.)
