From a Swedish symphony to a powerful cello concerto
The concert opens with Allan Pettersson’s Symphony No. 5, in which the orchestra creates a soundscape filled with powerful emotions. The second part of the concert features Antonín Dvořák’s Cello Concerto, in which the cello truly gets to shine.
The soloist is German cellist Daniel Müller-Schott. Together with conductor Eduardo Strausser and the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra, the evening will feature two works that take completely different paths, but both place emotion at the center.
