Tomorrow’s composers
The Academy of Music in Piteå has one of Europe’s best composition classes! Several of their students have become successful composers with success all over the world. A very important part of their education is the collaboration with the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra. For over 30 years, the orchestra has rehearsed and performed completely new music from young promising composers and this year is no exception. On April 22, the Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra gives a lunchtime concert with brand new music.
Participating are conductor Prof. Petter Sundkvist and conductors from the master’s program in Piteå.
