Helena Lundqvist works as a rehearsal leader at Norrdans, in that role she has assisted choreographer Horácio Macuacua and the ensemble throughout the rehearsal process of Knocking.

Helena is in charge of the physical introduction and will guide the participants through the physical world that the performance was based on. The physicality that then became the movement language that the audience will see/experience/feel from the spectator’s seat.

No prior knowledge required

With her previous long experience as a dancer and educator, Helena welcomes anyone, you do not need to have any experience of dance or of dancing to participate in the physical introduction. Come, it will be fun! Take the opportunity to get behind the (physical) stage of a dance performance.

And you – come in your normal clothes, you don’t have to change.

Immediately after the physical introduction, you are welcome to an oral introduction of the work in the main foyer.

Free participation

The physical introduction is free of charge, but a free ticket is required as the number of seats is limited.

Bonus for Knocking audience:
The physical introduction is offered to those who are going to see the performance Knocking.
