Hello, everyone—Anders Granberg at “Mercury Rising” by Jefta van Dinther

Anders Granberg is blown away by the mesmerizing *Mercury Rising*, in which the soundscape, lighting, set design, choreography, and dancers combine to create an unforgettable performance…

Hello, Anders Granberg, who attended the dance performance *Mercury Rising* by choreographer Jefta van Dinther. What did you think of the performance?

– It was fantastic! The set design, choreography, sound design, and lighting were incredible. It was completely breathtaking. This was a Christmas gift for my wife, but of course it was just as much a Christmas gift for myself.

Are you a frequent visitor to the Norrlandsoperan?

– Yes, we go to a lot of dance performances. Many of the best artistic experiences I’ve had have been here at the Norrlandsoperan; it’s such a luxury to have a place like this right here at home.

Is there a favorite performance you remember with particular fondness?

– Lots. “Crowds & Power” with Norrdans/Martin Forsberg—I laughed so hard I had a nosebleed. “Protagonist” with the Cullberg Ballet and Jefta van Dinther, and “Drip Tekhne” with the Danish Dance Theater last fall are a few performances that come to mind.

Do you have any plans to see more shows this spring?

– Norrdans is always worth a visit, so we won’t miss it.
