Since their debut in 2005, the Snowflake Singers have performed barbershop, pop, Christmas music, and delicate ballads—always with choreography, stage makeup, and maximum energy. Every year, the choir competes in the Nordic Championships and has won several medals. In the fall of 2024, the Snowflake Singers represented the Nordic countries at the World Barbershop Championships in Kansas City.
The choir is part of Sing United International—a women’s barbershop organization with members all over the world. Since 2007, the Snowflake Singers have been led by their artistic director and conductor, Kristina Lejon. The choir’s motto is “Excellence is what you repeatedly do.”
What is a barbershop?
Forget straw hats and the ’40s—this is all about overtones, harmony, and showmanship! The lead voice is in the middle, and the magic is built around it with bass, baritone, and tenor. The result? A sound that sparkles—just like the Snowflake Singers.
