Everyone is invited to our party

What would an anniversary year be without a big celebration? On Saturday, August 24, the Norrlandsoperan is bringing together the entire company for a festive celebration of the performing arts, music, and surprises—with free admission for visitors of all ages.

From midday until late in the evening, you can, among other things, take part in the animals’ carnival, listen to live music while lying comfortably on pillows, or sit next to a musician in the orchestra.

Or why not party with babies, kids, and drag kings, check out *Hamlet* as a puppet opera, or dance the “tryckare” after the cult classic dance piece *Rosa löften*?

Take this opportunity to test your knowledge in our trivia contest, which features a competition category for adults and a slightly easier one for school-age children and older.

Some performances require you to reserve a free ticket. Otherwise, it’s first-come, first-served.

Be on time! Your free ticket is valid only until 10 minutes before the start; after that, any remaining seats will be offered to the walk-in line.
