Akt 1: The Barefoot Diva
Här möter vi fem kvinnliga dansare i ett verk som hyllar deras olikheter, deras gemenskap och deras tro på dansen som förenande kraft. Divan dansar i korsningen mellan kulturer och kontinenter. Hon dansar för att skapa förändring, för att finna styrka, för att födas på nytt. Koreograf är Nicolas Huchard, en mångsidig danskonstnär som förutom sceniskt har arbetat med några av världens största namn inom mode, reklam och musik.
Akt 2: Blood Flows – The Power of Brotherhood
Tvillingbröderna Loïck och Emerick från Guadeloupe och Martinique i Västindien har, under artistnamnet Les Gamal, rönt stora framgångar på såväl teaterscener som i internationella battles. I föreställningen Blood flows – the power of brotherhood tar de med oss på en energifylld resa som blottlägger grunden i deras konstnärliga identitet – broderskapet.

Two exceptional hip-hop acts crown this year’s Up North weekend. Join us as we celebrate the spirit of brotherhood, sisterhood, and the community that dance can bring.
Act 1: The Barefoot Diva
After the break, we encounter five proud dancers celebrating diversity, unity, and the transformative power of dance. The Diva gracefully at the intersection of cultures and continents, using her art to inspire change, discover inner strength, and embrace new beginnings. Choreographed by Nicolas Huchard, a versatile artist recognized for his work on stage but also in fashion, advertising and music.
Act 2: Blood Flows – The Power of Brotherhood
Twin brothers Loïck and Emerick from Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean, known under the artist name Les Gamal, have achieved great success on both theater stages and in international battles. In the performance Blood Flows – The Power of Brotherhood, they take us on an energetic journey that exposes the foundation of their artistic identity – brotherhood.
